A downline is the people that have bought into the company via you. You will get paid for them joining and earn a percentage of any future sales they make.

So here some advantages of MLM businesses; Relatively quick and easy to set up, Can start straight away if you like, if you join near the top of the MLM line you can stand to build a long downline and make a lot of money.

Here are the Disadvantages of MLM; Methods of selling are outdated, this is because most MLM models encourage you to sell to your firends and family, pick up the phone and tell people about your product. These aren’t exactly cutting edge and many people will not be interested in sales calls! Another disadvantage is if you join near the bottom of the line most of the market will be saturated and you’re competing with experienced marketers. Now you will not be able to compete with these as nearly all MLM’s do not provide training on Internet Marketing.

So overall I think MLM’s are outdated as the marketing techniques they teach are no longer effective. Nearly every MLM will not provide you with the real training you need on Internet Marketing if you are to make money online and set up a successful home business.

Now there of course there are people making money from MLM’s and I’m not by any means trying to say they cannot make you money, but there is a very high failure rate as there’s a lack of training and support!

One of the main reasons people join an MLM is because of the lifestyle that is portrayed however at the beginning you will spend most of your time calling people on the phone and more often than not getting negative responses. This doesn’t sound like fun to me, instead a lot like a job!

Cash Gifting is the weirdest and most stupid thing I have seen become popular on the Internet. The whole system is flawed.

The idea behind it is that if we all give each other money we can live a better life…if that were true Banks would be printing more money non stop and we’d all be millionaires surely! So what do you get for your money (I mean gift), well your “Mentor” will help drive traffic to your sites where you too then promote yourself and the idea of cash gifting to people who will give you money (gift) in order for more traffic etc.

So one flaw, soon the business will run out of people to receive money from because there are only so many gullible people out there so what happens to the guys that have joined halfway down the line to the bottom of the line? Well they lose their money! Don’t believe me just go on you tube and find out how many people have lost their money through this system.

If you really want to drive traffic to a site you can buy an ebook on how to for around 40, seems a lot cheaper than $10,000 to me! However this time you actually have a product on the website that will benefit someone rather than a false opportunity.

Another major flaw in the system is that you have to send cash, why wouldn’t you send a cheque, it would make more sense surely as if for whatever reason your package wasn’t delivered you could always cancel it!

Also what if your “sponsor” or “mentor” turns around and says there wasn’t any money in the package even if there was. There’s no way you can prove it and Fed Ex do not provide compensation for actual money. This means it’s your word against theirs, a situation I would never like to find myself in!

So Cash Gifting is good for people that set up the “business” or are at the top of the downline as they can make (receive) a lot of money from people that are looking for a way to earn more money themselves!

On the other hand nearly all people will pay their money and never receive anything in return! Please make sure you are not oen of those people! I have read a couple of peoples articles promoting cash gifting where they say you do not have to do a lot of work or have knowledge to receive a cash gift! So what does that mean you just sit around and a package comes to your door with thousands of dollars in it!?
