How to Brand Yourself to Internet Success
This same question keeps coming up from newbie internet marketers:
Are there not too many people doing this already?
This can seem like a real problem to start with, especially if you are new to the industry. My answer is to brand yourself using attraction marketing.
To ensure you actually make a start in internet marketing, understand that there is an answer. This information should show you how to overcome this concern.
So you want to know how to be a successful internet marketer and compete with experienced people who have been doing this for years.
Well the answer to this problem is actually quite simple to overcome, once a few basic concepts in human psychology and attraction marketing have been explained to them, showing you how branding yourself leads to success.
You see, people buy from people that they like and trust. My answer to people who are concerned about the competition is this:
You Are Unique! Let me explain. If people do business with those they can relate to in some way, it should be easy to see that there is no competition if you market yourself as a brand.
When someone can see you for who you are, they will trust you more. You will give them value. That is attraction marketing.
Just be you.
By doing this, you will begin to form relationships with your prospective buyers. Once they are comfortable with who you are, because of the way you have been branding yourself, they will be far more open to what you have to offer.
When applied to business, this is a far more effective way of attracting people to what you have, rather than blasting people with a blatant sales pitch right at the start.
With a hard sell, a customer will probably ignore you. Im sure you dont enjoy a hard sell put on you!
Once you have been branding yourself and using the principles of attraction marketing, you are far more likely to generate sales because your customer feels comfortable with you.
As a final point, once you understand that you are one of a kind with a little personality of your own, the idea of competition disappears.
A customer looking at ten people offering the same product or service will naturally deal with the one they feel an affinity with, because you have been branding yourself.
So by branding yourself and understanding this part of human behaviour you are far more likely to succeed as an online marketer.
