When you utilize search engine optimization (SEO) there are several different techniques an SEO Networker will utilize. However, they all revolve around the same goal, which is to make websites more visible and improve their placement within search engine results.

You can still find most individuals utilizing and focusing their attention on Google. Who can blame? After all, they are the biggest search engine on the market. However, you are missing out on tons of traffic from the other search engines like Yahoo and Bing. Actually, you can even go lower than these two because there are several search engines out there. So when there is less competition, then you will be able to reach higher ranking and more overall visitors.

SEO is an ever evolving process, Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong from SEONetworker Mastermind Group explain and teach how to stay on top of the SEO game.

There are three important elements of your page design which add to your SEO; these are not the only things to take into account when building a website (these can also be changed in an existing site), but these are considered to be the most important:

1. Meta Tags – These are a very important part of optimizing your site for the search engines, since these are read by the search engine crawlers as they index your site. If you don’t include these, many search engines will not index your site at all, essentially making it invisible to search engines. These tags include:

Meta Title- In the resource type you will find something that reads; “DOCUMENT.” This is the only one of its kind for now, and you need it to be indexed.

Meta Description- Even though not all search engines look for these tags, it’s still important to use. If you keep everything short and concise (1-2 sentences), you will find it next to your page name in the search engine index.

Meta Keyword- Here you can place as many as 12 keywords. However, make sure they are relevant to your site and its content. You should also separate them by commas.

2. Navigational Links – One of the most overlooked areas is the navigational links. When setting this area up, make sure it either on the right side or bottom of the page. Crawlers will read the text of your site just like humans do. So the first 100 words is considered to be the most important. If you make them the names of your navigational links on the right or bottom of the page, then the first 100 words will be more useful when it comes to SEO. So make sure your most important keywords are present. Also be sure you don’t have a Java-script navigation bar in the area either.

3. Content – When people go to your site, the main focus is looking at your content. Even though your initial information can be helpful and bring in traffic, it’s important to continue adding content and keeping it updated regularly. When this occurs crawlers will come through and re-index your site as the popularity grows.

Ferny and Raymond have been preaching about this for years, so make sure you provide your site with constant original content. If you utilize duplicated content it will only hurt you down the road. As an SEO Networker you want to create all kinds of traffic (both regular and targeted), and utilize these tips above is a good place to start.

What it comes down to is the SEONetworker Mastermind Group offers plenty of strategies to help you build your online success.
